Research from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show that 17 million work days were lost in the UK due to mental health issues in 2015 and say mental health issues are the leading cause of absence after minor illnesses.
The research goes on to show that almost 30% of people were too embarrassed to say they were experiencing mental health issues and were concerned it would affect their career prospects.
